KENT, LONDON & DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
In love with the art, in love with the beauty, in love with the gritty, in love with the wonderful magnificent awesomeness of photography. Literally a life obsession. Started shooting in 2004, first wedding in 2006, and it just snowballed from there to the point where in 2015 I could leave my full time, immensely dull job in IT, and take photos for a living. It's been 5 years since then and I haven't looked back, shooting over 300 weddings in Kent, London and abroad since then.
To say that I am a full time photographer is awesome, and I make sure that every wedding I shoot is shot with the same energy and determination to put my stamp on the day. Every photo is thought about. I genuinely set out to capture unique photos. That’s why I love documentary, that’s why I love street photography. I take immense pride in what I do and delivering a set of images from a day that you love is my goal every day I shoot! “Gavin shot my daughter’s wedding at Marleybrook House, in Kent. His photos were (and still are!) AMAZING! He was chosen specifically for his ability to capture real, natural, unposed shots. He captured the bride and groom in some funny, quirky, and very loving situations... My favourite photo, is one he got of my daughter and me, just before she walked down the aisle. It was a very special, private moment between a mother and a daughter, but I am delighted that he saw the shot and took it! It was the exact moment I hugged my ‘baby’ goodbye.”
I've lost count of the weddings I've shot, and the list of venues is endless. Locations include my home country of Kent… Sussex, London, South West (Devon, Cornwall), the Midlands, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex..... Italy (Lake Como, Tuscany!),Hong Kong, Dubai, Montana. But I am mostly know for my Kent based wedding photography. The Dubai weddings are a rare treat (happy to go back if anyones interested!). Oh, and I do have one bucket list wedding…. New York. I absolutely love New York. Especially Brooklyn. So, again, if you or someone you know is getting married out there, I’m so your guy!
