I have three loves in my life; my wife, my daughter and photography. A bit cliché? Probably, but it's the truth!

In 2004, before our honeymoon to the Maldives, I got myself a camera. Two years later I was shooting a wedding. There was no grand plan, it just happened. I enjoyed it, so carried on doing it when asked. And I kept getting asked!

Lou Lou and Mark got married!

I sit here trying to write about yesterday and don't know where to start. I've said enough times, and heard people say enough times, that a wedding day goes too quick... and it really does, even when it's not yours.

I had so much fun yesterday, "Lou Lou" and Mark are such lovely people it was kind of hard not to have a good time.

When I got to the Old Kent Barn it wasn't just raining, it was, to quote Forrest Gump: "Big old fat rain..."

Once it calmed down I went in to join the chaos... A crazy blend of girls, toddlers, Monster energy drinks, champagne and Peppa Pig. Oh, and enough hairspray to give my lungs a severe work out!

From there on in the whole day seems almost a blur, it really did just fly by!

Suddenly the guys have arrived... suddenly the rain has stopped and we can have the ceremony outside.... suddenly the ceremony is underway (and then temporarily halted while the heavens opened, much to everyone's amusement!)..... suddenly I'm having my hour (the most important hour of any wedding ;0)... and before you know it it's 4:30 and the new Mr and Mrs Jackson are being introduced for the wedding breakfast! And I'm sitting down for the first time since I got out of my car 6 hours earlier wondering "where did the time go!?!"

Other highlights worth mentioning.... the best sausage and mash I've ever had, meeting and working with the lovely and very talented Smokescreen Visuals ("videographers"... is that the word???), the best "mens" speeches, I laughed. A lot (sorry Mark but it was just too funny, you'll get your revenge next year...), "the twins"... absolutely lovely chaps, to be seen to be believed.... and finally, Lou Lou's Adidas tracksuit top. Louise, I will always believe that my suggestion for you and Mark to have a Run DMC v Jason Nevins dance off for your first dance was truly genius and an opportunity missed!

I could go on, but I'll get boring. How about a few photos?

Lou and Mark, you are beautiful together, I wish you all the best for the future!
